Bank holiday awesomeness!!!

Eeeeek what an exhausting but fantastic weekend!! My best friends 30th, a visit to Whitstable with my uncle and aunty (be it a little worse for wear after the night before), a trip to a fort and then onto a working barge moored near my parents house for a wander. And all with the sun beating down. 

Southsea, Portsmouth

A veritable time capsule of bygone days of the English seaside. Penny arcades, fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours and pleasure rides all litter the promenade. It was fantastic to breath in the sea air and enjoy the total nostalgia of it all.

   Monuments to Portsmouth's military history are visible along the sea front.
