Southsea, Portsmouth

A veritable time capsule of bygone days of the English seaside. Penny arcades, fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours and pleasure rides all litter the promenade. It was fantastic to breath in the sea air and enjoy the total nostalgia of it all.

Monuments to Portsmouth's military history are visible along the sea front.

St Giles Hill, Winchester.

Despite the freezing winds and 100 steps to the top of St Giles hill, it was totally worth it as the views where incredible!
Its said that Keats ode 'to autumn' was written here.
