Willmott Family Christmas 2012

Well what a Christmas, 3 days with all the family in the house! And dispite the coughs and colds we had a fabulous time. My dad even joined the ranks of the silver surfers, He is now on facebook at 69!

I'm now looking forward to a relaxing new year doing as little as possible and living of bubble and squeak for the next week. Bring it on!!!!

Beautiful Bodiam Castle

While sifting through old pictures on my computer, I came across these from two years ago. Taken at the stunning Bodiam castle while I was part of a Napoleonic re-enactment there, these were taken at 5am on a misty morning. Truely one of the most magical sights. Enjoy. x

Christmas cake!

Many of you will have read my post on the making of this years Christmas cake, so I thought I would show you it in all its finished glory!!!

Just 4 months and a bottle of brandy later I'm rather chuffed with the end result! Lets just hope it tastes as good as it smells.

Christmas Cake 2012

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

I am the Queen of Christmas at the moment!! My cards have been posted, the decks are up, the turkey is brought and presents wrapped! I'm full of Christmas cheer now and totally relaxed. Time to sit back and enjoy the/a Christmas spirit.
